I have an extremely wide range of music and I'm hardly an expert on any of the music I listen to. Far too many people think that music has to have a specific meaning that you can pull apart, quite similarly to literature, but music isn't always like that. Music is often what you take from it, as is writing. You find your voice the more you write and even if people don't generally like what you are writing or people aren't interested, you'll still get someone who relates or who enjoys what you write or wants to read what you write. Only a real ass hole will rip into someone's blog when that blogger isn't Perez Hilton and they are generally trolls who aren't worth listening to anyway. The things you love, you always sound incredibly knowledgeable about; I think my writing lacks an authoritative voice sometimes. I'm not one for the schmaltzy 'it's on the inside' moments, but I did enjoy seeing shallowness take one in the neck. Class.
